Motivational Interviewing (MI): Beyond the Basics (3 CE Hours) Join us for an exciting online event that will take your Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills to the next level! This interactive workshop is designed for professionals seeking to enhance their understanding and application of MI techniques. Led by an experienced trainer, this 3-hour session will dive deeper into the core principles and strategies of MI, providing practical tips and tools to help you effectively engage and motivate your clients. Take this training if you: have some previous training and experience in MI & would like to hone your MI skills. Participants will: • Provide information in an MI-consistent manner • Cultivate client change talk • Explore methods to soften sustain talk • Recognize & respond to discord This is a live virtual event and requires a working microphone and camera to participate. A Zoom link and instructions will be provided prior to the training. You must attend the full session to receive credit; no partial credit will be awarded. 3 SCNASW CEUs. Trainer: Sarah S.
